Tripoli, October 03, 2022 (LANA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity, "Najla Al-Manqoush", participated this Monday evening in the celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the German Unity Day, which was held at the German Embassy in the presence of a number of ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries accredited to Libya.

Al-Manqoush emphasized the depth of the historical relations between Libya and Germany since 1955, when the first Libyan embassy was opened in Bonn in 1960, and the role played by Germany for the stability and unity of Libya in the Berlin Conference (1 and 2)

The Minister of Foreign Affairs also stressed the need to benefit from the German experience that the German people celebrate now, which is the unification of West and East Germany and the fall of the Berlin Wall that separated them, provided that we destroy the wall and the barrier between the Libyans and build one united state.
