Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs discusses prospects for consular cooperation with Morocco and facilitating the granting of visas to students and citizens

Tripoli, October 2, 2022 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Consular Affairs, “Mourad Hemima,” discussed in a meeting in Rabat with the Undersecretary of the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs, Fouad Qadiri, “the prospects for consular cooperation and consular relations in implementation of the agreement signed between the two countries on 26/11/2021 regarding the Supreme Committee for Consular Affairs.

The meeting discussed ways to overcome the difficulties in obtaining a Moroccan visa for Libyan students and citizens.

The Moroccan Undersecretary, "Fouad Al-Qadiri," confirmed that he will work to overcome these problems in the near future, and that the Moroccan government will open its consulate in Tripoli to facilitate consular procedures.

 The meeting also dealt with facilitating Moroccan labor procedures in coordination between the two ministries of labor in the two countries.
