Tripoli, September 18, 2022 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Board of the High National Elections Commission, "Imad Al-Sayeh", followed up with the directors of departments and sections the plans and projects for the development of work in the Commission.

This came during the meeting held today, Sunday, at the headquarters of the Commission in the capital, Tripoli, in the presence of representatives of the United Nations electoral support team in Libya.

The meeting reviewed the necessary procedures for the process of developing the Commission's systems, including the voter registration system, and what has been implemented of them, to be ready for modernization during the coming period.

The Electoral Commission stated that this meeting comes as a continuation of the series of meetings that the Commission has started to hold to follow up the level of readiness of the departments and offices of the Commission, to implement the expected electoral benefits and ways to enhance them.
