  Tripoli, 14 September 2022 (Lana) GNA Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Najla Al Mangoush received German Ambassador to Libya, Mikhail Unmacht, to discuss the latest developments in the political situation on the Libyan scene.

  Al Mangoush and the German Ambassador reviewed, at the meeting held on Wednesday at the Ministry's office in Tripoli, efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government of National Unity to achieve stability in the country and enhance security, in preparation for the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections according to a correct constitutional basis. The meeting also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and enhance cooperation in many different fields of interest to both sides.

The German Ambassador reiterated his country's support for the Government of National Unity and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to stabilize Libya.
