President of High Electoral Commission meets with delegation of heads of political parties.

 Tripoli, 4 September 2022 (Lana) President of the High National Elections Commission Imad Al-Sayeh met on Sunday afternoon a delegation comprising heads and representatives of a number of political parties, in the presence of members of the Commission's Council, Abdul Hakim Al-Shaab, and Abu Bakr Marda.

The members of the delegation expressed their readiness to cooperate with the Commission in order to consolidate the values of democracy and the culture of peaceful rotation of power, appreciating the achievements of the Commission in the previous stages of the electoral process and its efforts to hold free and fair elections, which would be the subject of consensus among all political parties.

 The meeting, which was held at the Commission's headquarters in Tripoli, comes within the framework of communicating with all parties interested in the electoral process, to ensure the effective participation of all political currents and parties in the upcoming electoral entitlements.
