Tripoli,10 August, 2022 (Lana) - Member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, met Wednesday, with the Chairman of the Standing Committee for Humanitarian Affairs of the Libyan Army, Colonel Dr. Hatem Kadiki, and Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross to Libya, Jhon Nicolla who praised the interest of the The Presidential Council with the file of missing persons and detainees, as it is one of the pillars of the national reconciliation project, which was launched by the Presidential Council.

The head of the ICRC delegation gave a briefing to the deputy about the committee’s work in several files, especially the file of detainees, missing persons, unidentified bodies, and relief for the displaced, in coordination with relevant local and international bodies, and the results it achieved in this aspect, as well as the difficulties and challenges facing the mission’s work.
