First Libyan pilgrims from central region Leave Misrata International Airport.

Misrata, 27 June 2022(Lana) The first group of pilgrims from the central region left Misrata International Airport on Monday morning on board one of the Libyan Airlines flight for the holy land to perform Hajj.

The flight was conducted in accordance with an agreement signed between Libyan Airlines, the carrier of pilgrims and the General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs.

  Abdullah Al-Aqili, spokesman for the General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs, told the Libyan News Agency the number the pilgrims who left this morning was 243 pilgrims from the cities of the central region, pointing out that the second and last group of pilgrims from the central region will leave Misrata international airport on Monday evening.
