Head of Government of National Unity follows up on situation of Benghazi displaced.

Tripoli, 27 June 2022 (Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba met Monday, at the Cabinet Office, with a number of displaced people from eastern region to follow up on their situation and learn about the problems and difficulties they face under their exceptional circumstances.

According to the Prime Minister's Communication Office Al Dabaiba stressed during the meeting that the responsibility of all displaced persons and addressing their problems lie with the government and its institutions, and that national reconciliation and reunification remain a goal sought by all Libyan people.

For his part, and according to the same source, the President of the Council of Elders and Dignitaries of the Benghazi Displaced said that unlike other governments, the Government of National Unity has taken care of this issue, and we need to increase coordination in order to address the administrative and financial conditions of a number of displaced persons, to ensure they will not remain outside the state system in any direction that guarantees the rights of all.

The Communication Office explained that the Head of the Government of National Unity instructed him to address all ministries to address the problems discussed during this meeting.
