Tripoli, 26 June, 2022 (Lana) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dabaiba, discussed with the British Ambassador to Libya, Carolina Horndal, the role of the United Kingdom in supporting the file of stability and elections in Libya.

During the meeting, which was held at the Cabinet Office in Tripoli, Dabaiba stressed the need to support the role of the envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General, "Stephanie Williams", in her efforts to support the holding of elections, respecting the wishes of nearly 3 million Libyans.

 The two sides also discussed the continuous oil closure, and its impact on the service and economic sector in the country, especially its impact on the supply of gas to electricity production plants, and the steps to be taken in this regard.
