Baghdad, June 25, 2022 (LANA) - The Chargé d'Affairs of the Libyan Embassy in Baghdad "Al-Said Ali Al-Said" discussed with the Commander of the Counter-Terrorism Force Major General "Mohammed Al-Zein" the security and military coordination between Libya and Iraq.

During the meeting, which was held between them on the sidelines of Major General "Al-Zein"'s visit to the capital, Baghdad, the two sides discussed efforts to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the fields of combating terrorism and cross-border crime and other files.

For his part, the Commander of the Counter-Terrorism Force, Major General "Mohammed Al-Zein" praised the warm reception and hospitality he and his accompanying delegation received from the Chargé d'Affairs of the Libyan Embassy in Baghdad and all embassy staff in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

Major General Muhammad Al-Zein had met, during his visit to the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, with a number of Iraqi security and military officials to discuss issues and files of common interest, especially security and military ones, as well as discuss enhancing security cooperation opportunities between the two countries in the file of combating terrorism and other issues.
