Tripoli, June 21, 2022 (LANA) - The Deputy President of the Presidential Council, "Abdullah Al-Lafi" met today, Tuesday, in the Turkish capital (Ankara), with the Vice President of the Republic of Turkey, "Fouad Qatay", to discuss the latest developments in the political situation in Libya, which confirmed the continued support of his country for the council’s efforts to achieve stability in Libya, leading to the holding of elections according to a constitutional basis agreed upon by all parties.

The Media Office of the Presidential Council stated that Representative "Al-Lafi" stressed during the meeting the continuation of the Council's work to achieve permanent stability in Libya by mobilizing local and international support to achieve the dream of the Libyan people in establishing a democratic civil state.
