Supreme Commander of Army - discusses with Chief of Staff unification of military institution.

Tripoli, 21 June, 2022 (Lana) - President of Presidential Council - Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohammed Al-Manfi, met, Tuesday, Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Al-Haddad, to discuss developments in the unification of the military institution. The Media Office of the Presidential Council stated that Chief of General Staff briefed the Supreme Commander on his recent visit to Cairo, as part of the Presidential Council’s efforts to unify the military institution, keep it away from all political disputes, and support efforts to establish a civil state.

The Supreme Commander considered that the meeting of Al-Haddad and Al-Nadori is an important step towards unifying the military institution, to be the safety valve for the homeland, and a new hope on the path of the state-building project.
