AL-Mnafi discusses with Minister of Culture issues related to culture sector,

Tripoli, 25 May, 2022 (Lana) - President of Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, met Wednesday, in Tripoli, with the Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Mrs. Mabrouka Toghy Othman, and a number of Ministry directors.

The meeting discussed many issues of concern to the culture sector, the ministry's efforts to improve the general cultural scene, and discussed some of the problems facing the ministry.

 The Minister briefed the President of the Presidential Council on the work progress of the Ministry of Culture and its offices in all municipalities and regions, and the continuous coordination between them, to advance culture and develop its various fields and arts.

For his part, Al-Manafi stressed the importance of the role of the Ministry of Culture in spreading awareness, tolerance discourse, rejecting hate speech, and supporting inclusive national reconciliation, to overcome the current crisis, expressing the council’s readiness to support culture and creators in this field, stressing the need to redouble efforts and work in a team spirit In all cultural offices, to develop the work mechanism according to a future vision for the success of cultural work.
