Tripoli, May 24, 2022 (LANA) - The UN Adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams, has expressed the readiness of the United Nations to support all Libyan efforts in its endeavors to reach peaceful solutions.

This came in a speech during her participation in the technical workshop on the modalities of international support for the Libyan disarmament, demobilization and reintegration program, which was set up by the United Nations Support Mission in the Spanish city of Toledo, in cooperation with the Spanish Embassy in Libya, according to a tweet published by "Williams" through her account on Twitter. “During our meeting with the 5+5 Joint Military Committee on the sidelines of the workshop, we agreed that a fully inclusive DDR process is an important tool for peacebuilding, along with security sector reform to achieve sustainable peace and security in Libya while recognizing the readiness and priorities Libyan stakeholders," she said.
