Saudi Arabia prevents its citizens from traveling to Libya

Tripoli, May 21, 2022 (LANA) - Today, Saturday, the Saudi authorities announced a travel ban for its citizens to 16 countries, including Libya.

The General Directorate of Saudi Passports said that its citizens are prohibited from traveling to Lebanon, Syria, Libya, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, India, Yemen, Somalia, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Indonesia, Vietnam, Armenia, Belarus, Venezuela, due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.

Passports’ department warned of the need to adhere to the health requirements for citizens wishing to travel outside Saudi Arabia, which are: receiving three doses of Corona vaccines, or if no more than three months have passed since receiving the second dose, and the department also warned of the need to ensure the requirements of the countries to travel. to it if a visa is required.

The number of infections with the new Corona virus in Libya reached 501,000, as 495 thousand recovered, while the number of deaths were 6,430 since the outbreak of the epidemic was recorded in Libya, according to the latest statistics of the National Center for Disease Control.
