Tunis, May 21, 2022 (LANA) - The US ambassador and special envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, met Friday in Tunis, member of the House of Representatives, Abd al-Salam Nussiyah, and discussed the important ongoing efforts to support the Libyans' demand for elections.

 "It was a pleasure to hear textual thoughts on enhancing transparency in the management of oil revenues," Ambassador Norland added in a tweet posted on his Twitter account.

 "The United States will continue to support this effort and work with all parties in Libya to complete Libya's transition to a democratic, stable, and prosperous country," he said.
