Tripoli, May 20, 2022 (LANA) - The Ambassador of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland to Libya, "Caroline Hurndall," said that her country's "unambiguous" view is focused on the necessity of preserving the integrity and impartiality of Libyan financial institutions.

Ambassador "Hurndall" said that she met and spoke with the Prime Minister-designate of Parliament, "Fathi Bashagha" (and stressed the need for all parties to refrain from violence and incitement to it, and it is important for all parties to engage constructively in the dialogue towards a process that benefits all Libyans), according to the first tweet on her account via the "Twitter" network

As for her second tweet about the same conversation and meeting with Bashagha, she wrote: (Although we did not discuss the role of Libyan financial institutions in our dialogue today, the UK’s unequivocal view is that the integrity and impartiality of Libyan financial institutions must be preserved for the benefit of the Libyan people).
