Tripoli, May 18, 2022 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba" met this evening, Wednesday, with a number of dignitaries and wise men of the city of Misurata, in the presence of a number of members of the Municipal Council, and officials of some sectors in the municipality.

During the meeting, which was held at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli, many words were delivered during which the attendees affirmed their support for the national unity government and appreciated its efforts in supporting the local administration.

The attendees expressed their desire for stability and peace, the preservation of the peaceful political path, and the return of honesty to the people through free and fair elections.

They also stressed the need for the national unity government to continue to provide its services to all Libyans and to work seriously for the success of the important national elections and the selection of an elected legislative and executive authority.
