French Foreign Ministry calls for comprehensive dialogue in Libya for conducting presidential and parliamentary elections as soon as possible.

  Paris, 18 May 2022 (Lana) The French Foreign Ministry on Wednesday called on Libyan actors to begin a genuine dialogue in order to reach a sustainable political solution that also requires transparent and impartial presidential and legislative elections across the country as soon as possible, to meet Libyan aspirations.

 In a statement, the Foreign Ministry appealed to all Libyan actors to refrain from any violence and abide by the ceasefire agreement, following Tuesday’s clashes in Tripoli.
