Williams commends the progress made by the Constitutional Track Committee of the House of Representatives and the State Supreme Court.

CAIRO, May 17, 2022 (LANA) - The Special Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephanie Williams, praised the progress made by the Constitutional Track Committee consisting of the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of the State, which is holding its work in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

In her speech at the opening of the third day of the committee's work, Williams said that the consultations witnessed the approval of a large number of articles of the Libyan draft constitution, calling for the need for the pace of work to proceed in this positive and constructive manner, to work in a high patriotic spirit, to raise the language of dialogue and negotiation and to make concessions in order to Libya and all Libyans.
