Tripoli, May 16, 2022 (LANA) - The Ministry of Defense of the Government of National Unity discussed with its Italian counterpart strengthening means of military cooperation between the two countries.

This came during a meeting of the Director of the Office of the Minister of Defense, Brigadier General "Gabriel Al-Shtiwi" yesterday with an Italian delegation headed by the Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and External Communication at the Italian Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense said through its account on "Facebook" that "the meeting came as a continuation of the joint cooperation between the Libyan state and the Republic of Italy, especially between the defense ministries of the two countries."
