 Tripoli, 12 May 2022 (Lana) The Head of the Government assigned by the House of Representatives, Fathi Pashagha, condemned in the strongest terms the assassination of a Palestinian journalist Shirin Abu Aqla by Zionist occupation forces as she was reporting near the West Bank town Jenin, demanding that the perpetrators be held accountable.

 Pashagha offered in a tweet his “deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and all the Palestinian people and journalists around the world," describing the targeting of journalists in the course of their work as heinous crimes and a violation of freedom of expression.
