Tripoli, April 15, 2022 (LANA) - The Minister of Oil and Gas in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Aoun, expressed his regret for not involving the ministry in any stage of preparing the national plan for the development of the oil and gas sector launched by the Government of National Unity.

Aoun said in media statements that the Ministry of Oil and Gas did not mention its name in the plan, although it is competent to supervise and monitor the Oil Corporation according to the text of the laws, especially with regard to financial matters and technical supervision.

Aoun welcomed any support for the oil and gas sector, provided that it is under the supervision and control of the ministry, in accordance with the laws regulating the sector, he said.
