Sebha, 26 January 2022(Lana) UN Secretary General Special Adviser on Libya Stephanie Williams arrived in Sabha on Wednesday for her first visit to the city.
Williams was officially welcomed at the city airport by a number of officials in the Sebha Municipal Council, and representatives of civil society organisations.
She tweeted: "Very happy to visit Sabha in the heart of the South, a meeting point, for the various components of Libyan society. I would therefore like to emphasize the importance of the people of the South enjoying the goodness of their land, and everyone respect their full rights without detracting or marginalizing them, while fully adhering to the principles of coexistence, citizenship, partnership and social justice.
