Tripoli, January 23, 2022 (LANA) - Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba expressed his pride in the men of the Libyan army, stressing that they are the first and true nucleus for establishing security and protecting Libya, its borders and sovereignty.

Dabaiba said in a speech he delivered at the ceremony held today, Sunday, on the occasion of the graduation of the first batch of Brigade “111” Infantry at his headquarters in Tripoli, “I express my pride in the graduation of this batch that will be organized for the Libyan army as protectors of the homeland, whose loyalty is to God and the homeland, and is not aligned with an individual or a city based on high professional bases. .

Addressing the graduates, he added, "I tell you that our country and its stability is an irreplaceable goal, and we will pay dearly and cheaply to achieve it, and we will not allow anyone to tamper with the country, and our motto will always remain yes to peace and no to war, yes to construction, yes to stability, and yes to defending the civility of Libya, the young state."
