Tripoli, 23 January, 2022 (Lana) - First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Fawzi Nweiri affirmed that the Parliament is aware of the size of the responsibility placed on the Parliament and its members with regard to the constitutional process and access to a path to be approved within the corridors of the Parliament.

Al-Nuweiri said in a speech he delivered at the Libyan Conference to Support the Constitution held in Tripoli today, "We, as politicians, worked to support the constitutional process by approving the referendum law and referred it to the High National Elections Commission, and we call for the assembly to be involved in everything related to the Libyan constitution." Al-Nuiri called on the Libyans to stand together to reach a permanent stage that achieves a permanent constitutional base, support reconciliation, unify the military institution, and lay out a clear and accurate map that begins with the constitutional path.
