Technicians of Harouge Oil Operations Company were able to control an oil leak in pipeline.

Tripoli, 23 January, 2022 (Lana) - The technicians of the Harouge Oil Operations Company managed to control an oil leak on the line south of the Ras Lanuf port tanks hangar at the point 85.5 km and retrieve 2,600 barrels by a suction car, which took three days, despite the harsh cold and lack of resources.

On its website, the Harouge Company attributed the repeated leakage cases to the transmission lines that were subjected to closures in the past period, and the erosion of the pipelines. Ras Lanuf oil port during the past years was out of service.
