Al Mnefi discusses with the German Ambassador latest political developments in Libya.

Tripoli, 19 January 2022 (Lana) President of Presidential Council, Mohammed Al Mnefi discussed in Tripoli on Wednesday with the German Ambassador Mikhail Onmacht, the latest developments in the political process in Libya.

 The two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, in many areas, as well as to review the efforts of the Presidential Council to unite institutions and make national reconciliation a success, in order to stabilize the country.

 The President of the Presidential Council paid tribute to Germany's positive role in the success of the Libyan political dialogue, stressing that the Council continues to work on the file of national reconciliation, to restore stability to the country, and reiterated support for the political path to free and fair elections.
