Libya and Tunisia agreed to form a joint committee for land and sea borders to draw common denominators to overcome difficulties between the two sides.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on its Facebook page that the agreement came during a meeting held today, Tuesday, with the Tunisian ambassador, "Al-Assad Al-Ajili", in the presence of the Director of the Arab Affairs Department, the Chairman of the Land and Maritime Border Committee, the Director of the Ministry's Military Affairs Office, and representatives of the National Oil Corporation, the General Staff and the Border Guards.

The ministry added that the meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them and solving some of the difficulties facing the progress of cooperation.
