Tripoli, 9 January 2022 (Lana) The President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, met Sunday at the council's headquarters in Tripoli with Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz. The meeting focused on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, as well as developments in the postponed electoral process, and the laws governing it.

The two sides stressed During the meeting the need to adopt the constitution as soon as possible, so that the elections can be held on sound grounds, in order to reach the stage of stability that all Libyans aspire to.
