. Tripoli, 9 January, 2022 (Lana) - Chairman of the Board of the High National Elections Commission, "Imad Al-Sayeh", met, Sunday, with the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Libya, Ibrahim Taruari.

The meeting, which was held at the Office of the Commission in Tripoli, discussed ways to support the expected electoral process and cooperation in this field between the electoral administrations in the two countries.

The Burkinabe ambassador stressed the importance of building strong relations between African electoral institutions, and supporting the commission in consolidating the democratic path, as it reflects on the security and stability of African countries.
