Cairo, January 05, 2022  (LANA) - The permanent representative of Libya to the League of Arab States, Ambassador "Abdulmutallab Thabet", discussed with the representative of the State of Qatar to the League, "Salem Mubarak Al Shafi", the latest developments on the Arab and international arenas.

The two sides also discussed, during the meeting, which was held between them in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, the strong bonds linking the two countries, as well as ways to enhance cooperation in a way that will reflect positively towards achieving the interests of the citizens.

During the meeting, the delegates of the two countries stressed the importance of joint coordination regarding the topics and issues discussed by the League, and the importance of an Arab consensus regarding the decisions taken by the League in light of the current challenges facing the Arab nation.

This meeting represents an important shift in the course of relations between the two countries, and clearly reflects the desire to accelerate the pace of cooperation between them at various levels.
