Cairo, January 04, 2022 (LANA) - Libya's permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Ambassador "Abdul Muttalib Thabet", praised the depth of brotherly relations between Libya and the Republic of Sudan, and the strength witnessed at all levels.

This came during his meeting today with the permanent representative of the Republic of Sudan to the League of Arab States, "Mohammed Elias Mohamed Al-Haj" in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, according to what was published by the Libyan delegation to the League of Arab States on its official page.

During the meeting, they exchanged views and discussed the overall bilateral relations, and the future of cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

The two sides also reviewed ways to develop bilateral relations to meet the aspirations of the two neighboring countries and peoples, noting the importance of joint coordination between the two countries on various Arab and regional issues.

It is noteworthy that this meeting falls within a series of high-level meetings conducted by Libya's permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Ambassador " Muttalib Thabet", with delegates of ambassadors of Arab countries, in order to promote joint Arab action.
