Minister of Oil Briefs President on progress of production and obstacles impeding increasing production.

   Tripoli, 11 October, 2021 (Lana) -  President of  Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, met Monday with  Minister of Oil and Gas, Eng. Mohamed Aoun, with whom he discussed  identifying the most important problems facing the oil sector.

    The Presidential Council stated that Minister Aoun briefed the President of the Presidential Council on the progress of production and some obstacles that impede increasing production and improving the conditions of the sector.

  The meeting also dealt with many other files, the most important of which is the formation of management committees for subsidiaries, as well as discussing everything related to the competencies assigned to the Ministry of Oil.

     The President praised the role of workers in the sector and their efforts to increase production rates, despite the difficulties they face.
