The United Nations mission welcomes elections for municipal councils.

Tripoli, January 8, 2021 (Lana) - The United Nations Support
Mission in Libya welcomed the municipal council elections that were
launched at the beginning of the year 2021 in the Hay-Andalus and
Suwani Ben Adam in the Big-Tripoli, and in the Qasr Khyar and Zliten.
"I encourage all registered voters, especially women, youth and
vulnerable groups, to participate in the polls, while taking all
precautionary measures, to contribute to the peaceful and inclusive
electoral processes," said Acting Head of the United Nations Support
Mission in Libya Stephanie Williams.
